Subcutaneous fat is you can see with your eyes its uneven, pinchable fat located just underneath the skin.
It's generally harmless, but aesthetically it can be undesirable.
Viscreal fat is stored inside the abdominal cavity. Visually, it can be identified as the typical "beer belly" - it's firm and hard, and people with a lot of viscreal fat are sometimes referred to as "skinny-fat."
It's also much worse for your overall health than subcutaneous fat. All fat cells release hormones, but because visceral fat is stored next to your organs, it's more likely to interfere with organ functions, which can lead to greater insulin resistance, higher blood pressure, higher bad cholesterol levels in your blood stream, and increase risk for heart disease and stroke.

Abdomen Liposuction can only remove subcutaneous fat. Visceral fat is firmly embedded inside the abodominal cavity - it cannot be suctioned out. Weight loss through deit and exercise can reduce visceral fat safely and effectively.
Having a lot of viscreal fat won't necessarily prevent you from having liposuction, but it will affect the kind of results you can expect from the procedure.
After Abdominal liposuction surgery, the body use the subcutaneous fats for energy but if there is not much energy to use then the body starts to use the visceral fat for energy. So liposuction surgery can help to use the visceral fat and reduce the size but more dramatic result to reduce the visceral fat is control appetite more.
2. Abodmen Liposuction Does not require General anethesia
Some doctors prefer the old method using general anesthesia especially in America or other overseas. However, in Korean Plastic Surgery industy, we do not use General anesthesia for liposuction surgery. We use the Sleep anesthesia (IV sedation) so you won't feel anything during the surgery but will be all done when you wake up from the anesthesia.
Rarely, in the case the customer have a problem with breathing issue but no prolem to undergo the procedure, or allergy reaction on sedation medication, then we may do the body examination whether you can handle the general anesthesia or not. If your body condition and other doctors note- you are able to undergo the procedure with general anesthesia then we do the liposuction surgery with general anesthesia.
3. Beware of Loose Skin and Belly Hang
As you age, the amount of collagen your body produces decreases, which results in less skin elasticity - meaning your skin does not bounce back like it used to. or if you have a lot of fats causing saggy skin as well. In that case, recommend the tummy tuck or body tighening treatment together - depenidng on level of the saggy skin after liposuction.
Now, there's no wrong age to get liposuction but be aware, the older age. the more likely skin laxity may be an issue, especially with abdomen liposuction.
If your skin is fine not that bad skin saggy, then you do not have to worry about the skin saggy.
The skin cell rejuvenate itself during the body recovery so it improves a bit or the same skin elasiticity as before liposuction surgery.
4. Fat Does not Move around (you can still gain weight)
Liposuction is an investment in your body, and like any investment, it needs to be maintained.
Abdomen Liposuction wont't prevent you from gaining back weight in your stomach, and it certainly won't prevent you from gaining weight.
If you gain, your stomach will still be slimmer than it would have been otherwise! Its not increases the subcutaneous fats as removed all the fats with liposuction surgery but it increases in visceral fat which we cannot remove the fat with liposuction surgery only can reduce it with work out or appetite control.
Even if you gain weight the you easily can lose weight with simple work out and appetite control.
